Victor Moses has enjoyed a fine start to the Barclays Premier League campaign and hopes to continue improving at the DW Stadium this season.

The Nigerian-born forward has started every game in the top flight for Roberto Martinez's side so far this term, backing up an impressive pre-season that helped the player force his way into the senior side.

With the departures of Tom Cleverley and Charles N'Zogbia this summer, regular first team chances have come Moses' way, and the 20-year-old has taken his opportunity with both hands.

"I think this season has gone well personally and we've started well as a team. I'm in the best form of my career at the moment and I want to start every game and keep playing football," Moses told the official Latics website.

"I love football. I'm really enjoying my time here at the club and I want to give my all in every game.

"The gaffer has been fantastic and told me to just go out there and express myself on the pitch and enjoy myself. I want to give 110% in every game."

Moses was speaking ahead of Wigan's tricky looking Carling Cup second round trip to Crystal Palace, the old stomping ground of the former England U21 international.

Selhurst Park brings back fond memories for the versatile youngster, but Moses insists he will remain professional for the trip back to South East London.

"It will be emotional going back to Selhurst Park as I was there four years and they're a great club, but I'm a Wigan Athletic player now and we have to go there and get a result," Moses continued.

"I enjoyed my time down there and they gave me so much help in my development, but I definitely want us to win the game and hopefully continue our great start this season."
