Northampton manager Gary Johnson says his team need to improve in every single department if they are to end their seven-game winless streak.

Johnson's men turned in an improved performance in a 0-0 draw against Torquay at the weekend, but the manager feels they must get better across the board.

"The players know they've got to raise everything," Johnson told the Northampton Chronicle & Echo.

"They've got to raise their standards and their work rate because we're going to have to put two or three wins together.

"Every department has to be better.

"If it means you're going to get a cut eye then you've got to go and do it and then let us stitch it back up."
