Dagenham full-back Abu Ogogo will miss the visit of leaders Morecambe as he serves a one-match suspension.
Ogogo has wasted little time accruing yellow cards this term, picking up his fifth booking of the season in Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat to Oxford - meaning he now serves an automatic ban.
Richard Rose is likely to take his place in the Daggers backline.
Medy Elito (groin), Josh Scott (knee), Rob Edmans (fractured leg), Kevin Maher (metatarsal) and Luke Howell remain long-term absentees and continue to miss out.
Skipper Mark Arber (back and virus) and striker Jon Nurse (international duty) returned to John Still's starting line-up in midweek and both will keep their place against a Morecambe side who are unbeaten in seven league matches, stretching back to the opening day.
Yet the Shrimps will not have fond memories of their last visit to Victoria Road in May 2010 when they were on the end of a 6-0 hammering in the first leg of their npower League Two play-off semi-final.
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley will assess the fitness of Phil Jevons and Gary McDonald ahead of the trip.
McDonald had to be stretchered off in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Macclesfield after picking up an early knee injury.
Jevons is nursing a calf injury and was left out of the squad in midweek but is hopeful that he will at least make the bench this weekend.
Both men will be checked as Bentley's side, who are currently top of npower League Two, seek to maintain their fine start to the season.
After Morecambe came back from conceding an early goal to draw at Macclesfield in midweek, Bentley paid tribute to his side's spirit, saying: "We showed the sort of character I expect."
