Tottenham Hotspur are keen consigning Peru defender Horacio Benincasa, according to The Sun.

The 17-year-old reportedly flew in to the UK last week to play for the club's reserves, and is expected to complete his move to White Hart Lane in the January transfer window.

The Ester Grande De Bentin player stared in the South American U17 Championships and could sign for Tottenham for a nominal fee.


Tottenham scouted the player during the summer championships, and after looking into his background and hope to confirm he is in possession of Spanish passport to complete his move to North London.

The Tottenham target is keen to join the club, but is also attracting attention from Werder Bremen.
