Chelsea starlet Milan Lalkovic has extended his loan spell with Doncaster Rovers by another month.

The 18-year-old striker is yet to find the net for Rovers, but has impressed manager Sean O'Driscoll with his attitude, notably coming off the bench to supply the equaliser against Bristol City.

Lalkovic is thought to be some way off the first team at Stamford Bridge, with a host of other youngsters at the club ahead in the Chelsea pecking order.

Indeed, summer teenager signings Romelu Lukaku and Oriol Romeu played for Chelsea in last night's Carling Cup penalty win, whilst Josh McEachran continues to climb through the club's ranks.

The Slovakian youth international is gaining valuable first team experience in the Npower Championship, and Chelsea have agreed to let the player stay at the Keepmoat Stadium until October 22nd.
