Macclesfield have allowed striker Vinny Mukendi to join Southport on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old forward has featured three times for the Silkmen this season, most recently in the 2-0 defeat at Cheltenham a fortnight ago.

However, he has now moved to Southport on a short-term deal and will go straight into the squad to face Braintree on Saturday.

Port manager Liam Watson is delighted with his latest recruit.

He said "Vinny is an imposing, promising striker with pace and I feel he could have a really good month or more with us.

"He has been in Wales Under-21s squads and has some Football League experience."
