Gary MacKenzie comes back into the reckoning for MK Dons ahead of the visit of Notts County.

MacKenzie has completed a three-match suspension following his red card for violent conduct during the home draw against Huddersfield.

His return leaves manager Karl Robinson with a decision to make over who partners Shaun Williams at centre-half, with Mark Beevers and Tom Flanagan also in contention.

Right-back Adam Smith (ankle), midfielder Jay O'Shea (ankle) and striker Jabo Ibehre (hamstring) remain out.

Meanwhile, Charlie MacDonald has undergone a scan on his thigh injury and will be out for around another month. The striker, signed from Brentford at the end of August, scored in his first three outings for the Dons but has not featured since hobbling off against Sheffield Wednesday on September 10.

Notts County have Rob Burch available again.

The goalkeeper has missed the last two matches with a knee injury but has now been declared fit after he resumed training.

Burch is likely to provide cover on the bench for number one Stuart Nelson, should manager Martin Allen opt to name a keeper among his five substitutes.

Charlie Allen was left out of the squad against Rochdale last weekend after suffering a dead leg in the previous game against Stevenage. It remains to be seen whether the midfielder will return to contention.

On-loan West Ham youngster Cristian Montano, fellow forward Karl Hawley and defender Sam Sodje are available for recalls should Allen wish to make changes on his return to his former club.
