Shrewsbury have extended the contract of striker Tom Bradshaw until 2013.

The 19-year-old has made over 30 appearances for the Shrews since joining from Aberystwyth Town in 2009, and received his first call-up to the Wales Under-21 squad earlier this week.

Manager Graham Turner told the club's official website: "We are delighted that Tom has agreed to lengthen his stay with us."

He added: "Despite not being in the starting line-up at present, Tom is continuing to make progress with ourselves and with the Welsh Under-21s."
