Derek Brunson proved to be too much for Darren Till in the UFC Fight Night main event on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Till had almost no answers at all for his dominant wrestling and Brunson was able to finish him with a submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:13 of the third round.

This was Brunson's sixth UFC main event and his fifth win in as many fights. It was the second submission loss of Till's career.

"I'm not broke, I'll sit and wait, you know what I'm saying, I know Izzy and Whittaker got a fight coming up, I'll sit and wait," Brunson said in his post-fight interview.

"Now give me five, six months to go ahead and get my body right and prepare for this really last, long title push that I'm trying to make."

Brunson should now be in the mix to fight Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight title.

Where Till goes from here however is a matter for another day.
