Liverpool owner John Henry was taken to hospital after leaving his luxury yacht in a neck brace on Friday, according to reports in America.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030 said that the tycoon, who also owns the Boston Red Sox, left his private boat in a neck brace after a minor incident.
Reports suggest the 52-year-old was treated by paramedics at the scene before being put on a stretcher and transported to Massachusetts General Hospital by ambulance.
There has so far not been any official comment from Liverpool or the Red Sox.
