Liverpool will allow out of favour defender Danny Wilson to leave the club on loan, according to The People.

The 19-year-old has only made one appearance for The Reds this season, against Exeter City in the Carling Cup, with the signing of Jose Enrique and Sebastian Coates restricting his involvement.

After failing to secure a move away from Liverpool during the summer, Kenny Dalglish is reportedly ready to off an escape route for The Scot, who has previous expressed his worry that his international spot will be in jeopardy.

Leeds United had expressed an interest in the Liverpool defender, who signed from Rangers in January 2010.

However, after only making eight Liverpool appearances last season, the ex-Ger is desperate for first-team football.
