An adorable video has resurfaced online –– showing an 11-year-old Emma Raducanu giving an interview at a junior tennis event in Braga.The Brit has reached the final of this year’s US Open and faces off against Canada’s Leylah Fernandez in New York tonight.So far, Raducanu is yet to drop a set in the competition and is on the verge of becoming the first qualifier in history to win a Grand Slam title.Having been ranked almost 400th in the world at the beginning of this year, Raducanu is guaranteed to become British number one next week and has already won the hearts of the adoring public.The teenager has demonstrated immense composure throughout all her matches and appears to be fearless, despite this being just her second major appearance. What’s more, the 18-year-old has shown an unrivalled maturity for someone so young and a charming personality off the court as well.ENTER GIVEAWAYAll of her post-match interviews have been conducted with a beaming smile on her face and the Brit is refreshingly honest with her answers.When asked if she’d feel the weight of expectation on her shoulders ahead of tonight’s final, Raducanu offered the perfect response, saying: “I mean is there any expectation? I’m a qualifier so technically on paper there’s no pressure on me.”It seems the Brit has always had this natural charisma, as this latest clip shows. Speaking at the Under-12s Braga Open in 2014, an 11-year-old Raducanu can be seen talking to a reporter after winning her semi-final.Her level of confidence is both endearing and impressive. When asked by the reporter how she feels ahead of playing in the final of the tournament, the teenager responded: “I’m feeling confident and I’m gonna give it my best shot and if doesn’t work that’s all I can do.”

Raducanu also spoke of how she found her semi-final and stated: “It was quite tough playing my best friend in the semis but she started off quite strong and then I fought back in the second and third set.

The then 11-year-old praised the tournament organisers and stressed how much she’d liked playing in the competition.

“It was really well organised and it’s a really nice setting to play and I really enjoyed it.”

Understandably, fans on Twitter were quick to comment on the video and praise the British star.

One user wrote: “She is so adorable,” while another put “this is absolutely fantastic.”

Raducanu’s match with Fernandez will be shown on both Amazon Prime Video and Channel 4 later.

Prime Video has agreed to share their live coverage and will reinvest all fees from the Channel 4 agreement into British women’s tennis to support the next generation of female British talent.

Coverage will begin on Prime Video at 8pm BST with pre-match analysis from Greg Rusedski, Daniela Hantuchova and Anne Keothavong in the Prime Video Studio, ahead of a 9pm start from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows; Prime Video’s coverage of the match will also be available in its entirety on Channel 4.
