That’s right up there with Ederson’s best ever.

If United have a rejuvenated De Gea between the sticks for the 2021/22 season, then the sky really is the limit for the team.

Raphael Varane has greatly increased the quality of the defence, Paul Pogba has seven assists in his first four Premier League games, Mason Greenwood is continuing to shine and Ronaldo is back scoring goals in the famous red jersey.

That’s pretty much every single box ticked, right?

Perhaps the only issue that needs resolving is the form of summer signing Jadon Sancho.

The English winger is yet to make a goal contribution since arriving from Borussia Dortmund and his performances have been far from the best.

But Sancho is still just 21 and he’ll no doubt smash it for United in due course once his adaptation to the Premier League is complete.

It’s certainly not a bad time to be a United fan right now…
