Transfer insider Dean Jones has thrown N'Golo Kante's Chelsea career into doubt by suggesting that this season could be his last at Stamford Bridge.
What's the latest with Kante?
The French World Cup winner has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in European football in recent seasons but has entered the final two years of his Blues contract, which has raised concerns over his future in west London.
However, speaking before the recent European Championships, the 30-year-old shut down any claims about him leaving by admitting that he isn't thinking about his future and hopes to remain with the club for many more years to come.
What has Jones said about Kante?
Jones revealed there's a possibility that the 2021-2022 could be Kante's sixth and final season with the European champions despite his incredible impact over the previous five years.
He told GIVEMESPORT: "What's N'Golo Kante's long-term future? Is he going to stay at Chelsea beyond this season? There's a possibility he won't."
How has Kante fared at Chelsea?
Unbelievably well. He's only got better since helping Leicester to their Premier League triumph – and besides the Carabao Cup, has won everything during his time in England.

He marked his first season at Chelsea with another league title and FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League medals have since followed for the midfielder, who produced a man of the match performance in the final of the latter to help Chelsea defeat Manchester City back in May.
Kante has also won the small matter of the World Cup with France during that period to establish himself as one of the most decorated English-based players in recent years.
With Chelsea going from strength to strength under Thomas Tuchel, and Kante still one of the best in his position in world football, he'd be mad to even consider leaving the Stamford Bridge outfit just yet.
