There has been much hype surrounding Eduardo Camavinga in the past few years.
Camavinga, who made made his debut for Rennes in 2018 at the age of just 16, was one of the world’s most coveted youngsters this summer.
Real won the race for his signature on transfer deadline day as he signed in a €31 million move.
And he enjoyed a dream debut against Celta on Sunday evening.
The 18-year-old came on in the 66th minute as he replaced Eden Hazard.
It took him just six minutes to score his goal for the club.
Luka Modric’s driving run ended in his shot being saved by Celta goalkeeper, Matías Dituro.
Fortunately for Real the ball fell straight to Camavinga, who made no mistake from close range.
Camavinga scored just two goals in 88 games for Rennes. He managed to score for Real with virtually his first touch.
Aside from his goal, it was a promising debut for the youngster.
He possesses a calmness beyond his years and that was on full display during his time on the pitch.

Camavinga looks as if he will have a long and very successful career at Los Blancos.
His goal helped Real to a 5-2 victory on the evening in their return to the Bernabeu.
Karim Benzema netted a hat-trick, while Vinicius Jr also got on the scoresheet.
The three points vaulted Real to the top of La Liga having accumulated 10 points from their opening four games.

Carlo Ancelotti was happy with his side going forward but conceded they have to improve defensively.
“We showed our quality in attack,” said Ancelotti, per Marca. “The team showed a lot of attacking quality with Benzema, Modric, [Eden] Hazard, Vinicius, Miguel Gutierrez..
“But we absolutely must improve on the defensive side of things.
“We were missing [David] Alaba and [Ferland] Mendy, but we need to help ourselves more in defence.”
