F1 2021 has been a huge success so far and the excitement is about to grow even more with the addition of the all-new circuits this year.

While Codemasters and EA brought their all-new racing sim out in July, they revealed that some tracks would be made available until later updates

Portimao, also known as the 'Autodromo Internacional do Algarve' located in Portimao, is one of those circuits and more news has been revealed on this.

The real-life Grand Prix at this track took place earlier in the year with Valtteri Bottas putting his Mercedes car on pole position. But while he had the initiative at the start, teammate Lewis Hamilton bolted past him to take the chequered flag and the all-important victory ahead of rival Max Verstappen.

Before last year, Portimao had never played hosted to a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend and is well-known for its vast elevation changes around its 15 corners.

The upcoming patch will tell us everything we need to know about the changes to the game as well as the details involving Portimao.
