Manchester United men and women have gotten their respective 2021/22 seasons off to a dream start.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team are currently top of the Premier League table with ten points, leading Chelsea and Liverpool on goal difference.

Meanwhile, the women have won both of their Women's Super League matches so far and are tied on maximum points with Arsenal and leaders Brighton.

The team performances from both United sides are extremely similar, right down to the more finer details.

In fact, during the most recent round of fixtures, it seems Bruno Fernandes and Ella Toone were channelling the same energy through each other as they scored near identical goals.

On Saturday, Man United men took on Newcastle in the Premier League and cruised to a 4-1 win. In the 80th minute, Fernandes rifled a stunning strike into the back of the net to score the Reds' third of the match.

The Portuguese star must have set Toone a challenge to match his effort as United Women headed into their clash with Leicester the following day.

If there was an assignment set, the 22-year-old definitely understood it.

Just after the half hour mark, Toone lit up the King Power Stadium with a rocket from outside the area, almost mirroring Fernandes' goal vs Newcastle.

Her screamer put United in front, setting the precedent for what would be a 3-1 victory for the Red Devils.

The Man United Women's Twitter page has since posted an incredible video of the two strikes side by side and the two are scarily similar.

Supporters are absolutely loving the comparison between the two goals and are hyping up Toone and United Women ahead of what could be a title-challenging season in the WSL.

The Red Devils are next in action on Sunday, September 26th in the WSL against Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village.
