Mills boost for Red Devils

Pablo Mills has handed Crawley a huge boost by returning to action after more than six months on the sidelines.

Town skipper Mills has been out since suffering a serious ankle injury, which eventually required surgery, in March.

But the defender made his comeback for the reserves against Peterborough and came through 45 minutes unscathed to the delight of manager Steve Evans.

"It was like he hadn't been away," Evans told the club's official website.

"Pablo was excellent for the first 45 minutes and it was mission accomplished in terms of getting him game time."

Michael Doughty put Crawley into the lead but two late goals gave Posh a 2-1 win.
