FIFA 22 Ratings: Manchester United Fans Shocked by Rating of Striker

Manchester United fans are shocked by the rating of a young striker

FIFA 22 ratings are starting to get revealed, and fans have been reacting to the news that some of their favourite players are not getting as high a rating as they were expecting.

One of the biggest elements of a new release of FIFA is always the anticipation of the new overalls for some of the star players in the game. Manchester United have added some major names to their ranks in the transfer window on top of the quality younger ‘homegrown’ players they already had on the team sheet.

Interestingly, there are a number of players ahead of one of the top young players that fans were expecting a higher overall for. Specifically, these players are Scott McTominay and Fred.

Mark Goldbridge recently confirmed the ratings for some of the bigger names at Man United, with Mason Greenwood coming in last at 78.

Not surprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo has the highest ratings of all of the United players, however, Greenwood sits at the bottom of the new leaked player ratings, just below McTominay and Fred who have 80 and 81 respectively:

  • Cristiano Ronaldo – 91 Overall
  • Bruno Fernandes – 88 Overall
  • Jadon Sancho – 87 Overall
  • Paul Pogba – 87 Overall
  • Raphaël Varane – 86 Overall
  • Marcus Rashford – 85 Overall
  • Fred – 81 Overall
  • Scott McTominay – 80 Overall
  • Mason Greenwood – 78 Overall

Fans react to Greenwood rating

Fans have taken to social media to announce their displeasure at the promising England player ranked so low; however, there is some hope that he will get quality in-form cards throughout the season.

One fan tweeted: “Greenwood 78 is a disgrace but hopefully with this form he’s gonna get many in-forms.” Another fan would write, “Greenwood 78 when he’s literally the best youngster in the league.”

The biggest reaction to the news of Greenwood getting such a ‘low’ overall in FIFA 22 was a fan quite simply calling the rating ‘a crime.’ They wrote, “Greenwood being 78 is actually a crime.”

There’s a very good chance that we will see Greenwood featured in Ultimate Team this season with in-form upgrades and potentially a Premier League TOTS card towards the end of the season.

Greenwood is an extremely promising player, and fans will hopefully be happier if/when he gets the stats boost expected throughout the Premier League season.
