One of the biggest elements of a new release of FIFA is always the anticipation of the new ratings for some of the star players in the game.

The top 22 has already been released by EA, and there are a couple of notable expectations that fans were expecting to see.

Arguably one of the biggest shocks comes with the downgrade of a Liverpool player who had an exceptional run in the Premier League last season.

It has been confirmed that Mohamed Salah will be getting a downgrade to 89 in FIFA 22, after having a 90 rated base Gold card in FIFA 21’s Ultimate Team.

This wasn’t expected, as the Egyptian player scored 22 goals in the Premier League last season and just missed out on the golden boot.

It’s fair to say that a number of Liverpool and FIFA fans in general are completely baffled by the downgrade for the impressive player.
