David Norris reckons that Pascal Struijk was unfortunate to be sent off in Leeds' 3-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
What happened?
63 minutes into Leeds' fourth winless game on the bounce, the Dutchman was involved in an incident with Reds youngster Harvey Elliott.
Struijk slid back and appeared to cleanly take the ball from Elliott without too much difficulty.
However, Elliott, clearly in agony, stayed down, and was forced off on a stretcher. Replays weren't available, but on second viewing, the teenager's ankle gets stuck under Struijk's leg which caused his ankle to dislocate.
Despite his clear intention to win the ball, the Dutchman was shown a red card by referee Craig Pawson, which forced Leeds to play the best part of half an hour with 10 men, which all but ended their slim chances of claiming a first league win of the campaign.
What did Norris say about the incident?
Norris told GIVEMESPORT that the severity of Elliott's injury was the reason for the sending off and admitted that Struijk was unlucky to receive his marching orders:
"Should he have just fouled him, it would have been massively harsh. The injury is horrific, but it makes the decision easier for the referee because it looks so bad and everyone is on that page of 'oh, it's horrendous'.

"But, if he doesn't have that injury, it's massively harsh, so the fact that he got that injury, for me, it's still harsh."
How long will Struijk be out for?
Struijk's sending off means that he'll face a three-match suspension. Fortunately for Leeds, only two of those will come in the Premier League, though.
He'll miss the Friday night visit to Newcastle, but with Leeds in Carabao Cup third-round action at Fulham next Tuesday, it means that the defender will only be absent for one further league fixture against West Ham later this month.
However, whilst that could be viewed as the most minor of consolations for Marcelo Bielsa, he saw Diego Llorente hobble off against Liverpool and is already without Robin Koch, which means he could be facing a central defensive crisis at St James' Park later this week.
