Chris Eubank Jr has sensationally claimed Billy Joe Saunders 'has no credibility in the sport'.

And the Brighton-born boxer has also warned his British rival he will 'obliterate him' in the boxing ring.

Eubank Jr, 31, is set to face Sven Elbir in his comeback fight next month.

But as if that weren't enough, he has also recently sparked a war of words with former opponent Saunders in an attempt to force a rematch between the British pair.

'He is not in a position to demand anything'

Saunders, soundly beaten by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in his last fight, wants at least £5 million to fight him again.

But Eubank Jr has hit back at his demands.

The 31-year-old told iFL TV: "I've already said what I think.

"You can't be the A-Side with no belt, no credibility in the sport.

"You can't be the A-Side of anything when you quit after getting punched in the eye.

"You can't be the A-Side when you have no other options.

"This is the only option Billy Joe Saunders has.

"There's no-one else he can fight. There's nobody else that anyone wants to see him fight.

"On the flip side, what do I have? I have a sea of names, a sea of fighters, a sea of options that are in front of me.

"So yeah, you know, there is no A-Side for him, he is not in a position to demand anything, he will get what he is given if the fight happens.

"I'm the A-Side in that fight."

Saunders, 32, beat Eubank Jr, 31, by split decision in November 2014

'It's just up to me if I want to get in the ring with him really'

Eubank Jr, who has also been campaigning for a super-fight against Canelo Alvarez, was left in hysterics after the Mexican put a beatdown on Saunders at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on May 8.

"I would obliterate him," he added.

"The guy is a fake, or as the Americans say he's a phoney, a fraud.

"He got in the ring with Canelo after all the things he said...

"And then he goes and does what he did against Canelo and tries to fraudulently blame it on a broken eye socket and a fractured orbital bone - none of which has been proven.

"You know, the guy's a joke, and I would stop him, there is no doubt, I would take him out.

"And it's just up to me if I want to get in the ring with him really."
