For Barcelona, and anyone involved with the club, now is not a happy time.
After years of gross financial mismanagement, the clubs woes came to a head over the summer as superstar striker Lionel Messi was forced out of the club.
It was dagger to the hearts of every single Barca fan out there but watching Messi sail off into the Parisian sunset will have stung even more.
The club is riddled with crippling debt, manager Ronald Koeman is clearly upset with the hierarchy and the fans are completely disenchanted with everything that is going on.
Add to that some rather insipid performances on the pitch, and you're left with a rather nasty cocktail of sorrow.
What's worse is that the fans have turned on certain members of the squad, who they blame for Messi's departure.
At the crux of it, Messi was forced out of the club after La Liga refused to allow him to be registered under the new contract Barcelona had proposed.
However, reports that certain member of the team refused to take payouts in order to accommodate new signings and make room for Messi, have caused fierce backlash among the fan base.
Samuel Umtiti has been fiercely booed all season while Sergi Roberto was whistled at and repeatedly heckled during Barca's apologetic loss to Bayern Munich.
The eery whistles echoed around the famous Camp Nou as Roberto was substituted off in the 59th minute as fans voiced their displeasure.
For Roberto, it was too much to take, with AS reporting that the full-back broke down in tears in the dressing room following the brutal treatment from the fans.
Gerard Pique was quick to condemn the behaviour but, if Twitter is anything to go by, Roberto shouldn't be expecting too much sympathy to be given his way.
Fans are deeply upset with the current state of affairs at the club and poor Roberto has found himself firmly in the crosshairs.
At this moment, it certainly looks like things are going to get much worse at Barca before they ever get any better.News Now - Sport News
