Fabio Capello intends to see his England job through until the end of Euro 2012.

The Three Lions tackle Montenegro this evening needing a point to book their place at next summer's finals in Poland and Ukraine. Yet there are some within the Football Association who feel that should mark the end of his time as England coach and a replacement needs to be brought in prior to next summer.

However, asked whether he would definitely remain in his job to Euro 2012, Capello said: "Absolutely. I've got a contract. It is my desire to be the manager at the Euros."

Capello will unleash Wayne Rooney on Montenegro confident the striker is in the right frame of mind for the finale to England's Euro 2012 qualifying drive.

The 25-year-old arrived in Podgorica on Thursday to be informed his father, Wayne snr, and uncle, Richie, had been arrested in connection with an alleged betting scam involving a Scottish Premier League match. They were later released on bail, and Rooney's father protested his innocence through his solicitor.

Capello spoke to Rooney before England's final training session prior to tonight's match, to ensure the 25-year-old was mentally ready. The answer did not come as any surprise.

"He is okay," said the Italian.

"He is in good form and in the last three days he's trained two days really well."

After a week of deliberation, Capello appears to be leaning towards Bobby Zamora as Wayne Rooney's strike partner.

Teenager Phil Jones is in line for his debut at right-back unless the 65-year-old has a last minute change of heart and opts for Phil Jagielka instead for what Capello hopes will be his final qualifier.
