Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has teased that she may be returning to the ring over the past couple of months.

Paige had to retire from in-ring action back in 2017, following a six-woman tag team match where she sustained a neck injury.

With the returns of Edge and Bryan Danielson over recent years, there have been hopes from fans that the 29-year-old from Norwich, England will finally be able to make her way back to the ring.

The former WWE Superstar posted the phrase "not done yet" back in August, and now she has gone back on social media with another cryptic post, simply writing "January."

There's no official word on if this means Paige will be returning to the ring for WWE. Many fans have speculated that the British Superstar will be returning in the Women's Royal Rumble match in 2022, however, the Rumble is being slated for February next year.

Paige may also be indicating that her WWE contract is coming up early next year, which has also had fans speculating if she may leave and make her way over to All Elite Wrestling as part of their ever-growing Women's roster.

There's also always the chance that none of this is related to Paige making an in-ring return, but it certainly intriguing that the former Divas Champion has been cryptic with her recent social posts amid these rumours of a return.

In the second episode of the revamped Turnbuckle Talk podcast, Louis Dangoor and special guest Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful talk about the biggest news in professional wrestling, including Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole's AEW debuts, the health of Triple H, Kevin Owens potentially leaving WWE and more.
