It was recently reported that Johnny Gargano's WWE NXT contract was soon up for renewal, but what about his wife Candice LeRae?

LeRae and Gargano announced recently that they were pregnant, although LeRae has remained on NXT programming and plans to do so as long as possible.

Apparently, the couple's contracts do not match up timing-wise, and LeRae's deal is set to expire later than Gargano's.

Fightful Select recently revealed that LeRae's deal will be expiring at some point in 2022, far later than Gargano, whose deal is expected to end on December 3rd:

It was noted that Candice LeRae's deal does not match up with Gargano's, and she still has time left on her contract after. It does expire sometime in 2022, they confirmed. For those asking, her deal has not been "frozen" by WWE during her pregnancy, and she remains an on-screen character. Fightful was told by NXT sources that she insisted on remaining on-screen as long as she plausibly could, and that NXT has been happy with her performance both in and out of the ring.

There is currently no indication that Gargano will not be signing a new contract to remain with the company, and it is likely that LeRae will also re-sign if that is the case.

Both Gargano and LeRae remain to be featured Superstars on NXT programming, with the pair helping with the Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis wedding on this week's 2.0 reboot episode.

In the second episode of the revamped Turnbuckle Talk podcast, Louis Dangoor and special guest Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful talk about the biggest news in professional wrestling, including Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole's AEW debuts, the health of Triple H, Kevin Owens potentially leaving WWE and more.
