The top 22 women’s players on FIFA 22 have been officially revealed.Women’s international teams were first introduced to FIFA in 2016, though we are still waiting for the chance to play with domestic sides. This year, it’s a three-way tie at the top of the ratings between Arsenal and Netherlands superstar Vivianne Miedema, reigning Best FIFA Women’s Player Lucy Bronze, and France and Lyon captain Wendie Renard. All three players are rated 92 –– making them higher rated than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne and Neymar on this FIFA.Miedema is the Women’s Super League’s all-time top scorer and has 102 goals in 105 competitive games for the Gunners. The forward is equally as prolific at international level and has 83 goals in 100 games for the Netherlands. Ten of these goals came in just four matches at the Tokyo Olympics this summer as the Dutch star netted four against Zambia and two each against Brazil and China.ENTER GIVEAWAYENTER GIVEAWAYWhile Bronze doesn’t boast the same goal-scoring record as Miedema, the right-back has long been renowned as one of the best players in the world. The defender has played 82 times for England and made four appearances for Great Britain at the 2020 Games. The 29-year-old also has an exclusive column for GiveMeSport Women, where she documents her progress. Check out her latest piece assessing City’s chances this season.Renard is a similarly experienced defender and is one of the most decorated players in women’s club football, having won a record 14 French League titles and seven European Cups.Remarkably, despite being a centre-back, Renard has scored more than 100 goals for Lyon and 28 for the French national side.

Just below these three players is Australian forward, Sam Kerr, who is rated 91. The Chelsea striker finished with the most goals in the Women’s Super League last season and is the all-time leading scorer in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Six players are rated 90 on this year’s game, including US trio Tobin Heath, Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan. All three have more than 100 caps for the US Women’s National Team and have won the World Cup on two occasions.

Chelsea forward Fran Kirby is the only other English player to make the top 22. The 28-year-old is rated 88 and is perhaps unfortunate not to be rated higher, having been named the PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year last season.

Arsenal and Scotland legend Kim Little also makes the list and has a rating of 87. The 31-year-old recently announced her retirement from international football but is still the captain of the Gunners.
