Journalist Paul Brown reckons that summer signing Nikola Vlasic could be used up front by David Moyes this season at West Ham.
Has Vlasic played there previously?
The 23-year-old became Moyes' fifth and final summer addition when he made the switch to the Hammers in a £27m deal from CSKA Moscow on deadline day.
Vlasic has been signed predominantly as a central attacking player but has the ability to play anywhere across the three front and has played as a central striker on several occasions in his career.
His record playing up front is far from impressive, though, having scored just three times in 13 games, although he has laid on four assists.
None of those came last season as Vlasic was used in the number 10 role for CSKA, having a hand in18 goals in all competitions as the Russian outfit finished sixth.
However, with West Ham struggling for options at the top end of the pitch, Brown suggested that the Croatian could be used as an emergency striker.

What did Brown say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "He may even be called upon to play centre-forward, because I think he could do that if he wanted to."
Why are West Ham short of numbers up front?
Following their failure to sign another striker this summer, the Hammers have been left with Michail Antonio as their only recognised frontman.
But the joint Premier League top scorer is suspended for their clash with Manchester United this weekend after he was sent off against Southampton last Saturday and is serving a one-match ban.
When Antonio was out injured last season, Moyes used Jarrod Bowen through the middle.
However, Brown believes that Vlasic could be another option for Moyes, though handing him his full Premier League debut against a red-hot Manchester United, playing out of position would be a tough task for the 23-year-old.
