Call of Duty Vanguard: Assault Rifle list (leaked)

Call of Duty Vanguard Assault Rifles.

Call of Duty Vanguard is just around the corner and more details are beginning to emerge regarding the game's core features.

While fans have been treated with many trailers, open alpha and beta tests so far, Sledgehammer Games, the developers, are still keeping their cards close to their chest regarding what else will be included in their post-WW2 first-person shooter.

CoD's legacy stems from the goings-on between 1939 and 1945. But this time, Vanguard will be taking place just after the defeat of Nazi Germany and with a new faction looking to take over.

Due to the time period, many historic weapons are expected to be included from American, Soviet and German rifles for gamers to experiment different load-outs with.

But the big question is, what assault rifles will feature in Vanguard? Well, it looks like we may have that information.

Thanks to Alaix COD on Twitter, we got an early insight regarding what Assault Rifles will be on offer to players once CoD Vanguard is eventually released.

Here is the list that was given along with a brief description of each weapon:

  • AS44 - With extremely rapid-fire, this machine rifle is hard to control but great for close-range combat.
  • BAR - This rifle packs the damage and accuracy to be great at long distance but fires too slowly for close engagements.
  • Itra Burst - Burst-fire delivers excellent damage and accuracy at medium and long-range but is inconsistent up close.
  • Chauchat - This automatic support weapon fires heavy rounds with good control but at a very low rate of fire. Headshots are extra effective.
  • NZ-41 - Firing heavy rounds at high accuracy, but high recoil, the rifle deals high close-range damage or can be used distance with controlled bursts.
  • Fedorov Avtomat - High accuracy and extremely low recoil make this rifle precise and useful at any range.
  • STG44 - The gun is balanced to be viable in almost any situation, but does not excel in any one area.
  • Volk - Quick and mobile, this is the lightest automatic rifle, allowing great movement but with low control.

Call of Duty Vanguard is released on 5th November 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
