Luis Suarez was an unstoppable force of nature at Liverpool.

There were signs of greatness from the very first day the Uruguayan set foot on Merseyside, but it was the 2012/13 and 2013/14 campaigns that truly saw him conquer the Premier League.

Suarez smashed home an astonishing 61 goals in just 81 appearances across those two seasons and equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's goalscoring record for a 38-game term in the latter.

Suarez's Liverpool spell

It really is an incredible feat from the former Ajax striker when you consider that he arrived at Anfield just a matter of days after Roy Hodgson's doomed tenure had come to a close.

And by the time that Suarez completed a lucrative move to Barcelona in the summer of 2014, Liverpool had come within a Steven Gerrard slip of winning their first Premier League title.

As a result, Suarez will always have a special place in the heart of Kopites and the man himself can rest assured that he left them with plenty of electrify moments to remember him.

Suarez's greatest moments

His onslaught of four goals against Norwich City and outrageous halfway-line goal at the home of the same opponents come to mind, but we wanted to reflect on a more underrated strike today.

In fact, we're here to highlight a goal that - in the opinion of your humble GIVEMESPORT writer - might just be the most underrated strike that the Premier League has ever seen.

Yes, that's right, we're talking about the moment that Suarez channelled his inner Dennis Bergkamp to score a 'superglue' goal against Newcastle United in November 2012.

Suarez's superglue goal vs Newcastle

With Jose Enrique launching a stellar ball over the top of Newcastle's defence, Suarez lived up to our 'superglue' label with an outrageous set of touches under pressure from Fabricio Coloccini.

And to then have the composure and skill to dribble past Tim Krul just a split-second later really did take the mickey, so be sure to relive Suarez's moment of magic in all its glory down below:

GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says

I don't know about you, but I've practically spammed the replay button into submission at this point.

Now, look, I might be an Arsenal fan, but even I've got to admit that Suarez's remarkable Newcastle goal should be talked about amongst some of Bergkamp's finest goals in terms of deftness of touch.

No, I'm not saying that it's better than Bergkamp's strike against the same opponents, though I am sticking my neck out and opining that it's superior to his Leicester City goal. Yup, sue me.

And when it comes to being the most underrated goal in Premier League history, it's simply criminal that we don't hear and see more of this strike compared to some of Suarez's other screamers.

Just because it's not a 40-yard strike or acrobatic volley it doesn't mean that Suarez's goal should be relegated from the conversation of the greatest to ever grace the Premier League.

In terms of the cavity between the quality of the goal and the frequency with which it is heralded, I have good reason to think this Suarez beauty is one of English football's underestimated gems.
