Each Icon card has three different variations, a base card, middle card and high tier card. EA Sports announced on social media the arrival of Wayne Rooney into the game as they posted the news on Twitter alongside a short clip of what he will look like in the game.
Fans of Manchester United and Everton will be the happiest about this news, but the Premier League striker was a footballing legend and many will be wanting to play as him in the game.
They also revealed the three different ratings Rooney will have in the game, and this has caused a lot of debate as many believe he should have a higher rating. The card also has a different position.
