DokeV, pronounced "doh-keh-vee", is a family-friendly open-world collectable MMORPG. The new title from Pearl Abyss will be filled with intriguing stories and set within a unique, vibrant world.
The game itself will revolve around a variety of unique creatures, known as Dokebi. The Dokebi gain and grow more powerful from people’s dreams in the game.
Here is everything we currently know about DokeV and when it is likely to be released as a full retail version.
Right now there is not a lot known about the gameplay for the new title from Pearl Abyss, aside from the fact that players will be able to customize their characters with different clothing and equipment in the MMORPG.
DokeV is being developed by Pearl Abyss, the team behind the Black Desert franchise. At this time it is unknown what platforms the game will be available on, however it is likely that both a PC and console release will be happening.
What is the release date for DokeV?
DokeV was originally expected to go into beta in 2020, back when Pearl Abyss were expecting for the game to be a purely MMO title.
The actual style of title to the creature-capture gameplay apparently changed during development. Pearl Abyss said: "#DokeV was initially introduced as an MMO, but we decided to move the game in a different direction.
"It's now a creature-collecting open world action-adventure. But regardless of genre, we're going for fun, vibrant, and adventurous!"
The exact release date for DokeV has not yet been confirmed, however, it is expected to drop in 2022. We will be able to update this information as and when it is confirmed officially by the developer.
It looks like the game could end up being a big hit amongst fans of creature-collecting games such as Pokemon, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Nexomon.
We're expecting that more information will be released about the game towards the end of 2021, with 2022 being the expected release date.
