Odsonne Edouard's move to Crystal Palace has the potential to make-or-break his career, according to journalist Stuart Hodge.
How did Edouard's move to Selhurst Park come about?
Edouard penned a deal worth £70,000-per-week plus bonuses when he joined Crystal Palace in a deal which could end up being worth £18.5million just hours before the summer transfer window slammed shut.
Edouard had made it clear that he was vying for a move away from Scottish Premiership title challengers Celtic, with the 23-year-old even changing agents at the turn of the year in a bid to force through a switch.
Edouard is also the France under-21s' all-time record goalscorer after getting on the scoresheet 17 times.
What has Stuart Hodge said about Edouard?
Hodge believes Edouard's deadline day move could prove to be a defining moment in his career.
He feels the striker may end up sealing another switch to a club competing for titles if he shines at Selhurst Park.
However, the journalist also warns Edouard could struggle to find any suitors if he does not prove his worth in the English top flight.

Hodge told GMS: "It will be interesting for me because I feel that this move will define the standard of player that Odsonne Edouard is going to be.
"Is he going to go to Palace and then stick out like a sore thumb and get another big move or is this going to be his level?
"He's at that age now where this move, I think, will determine that."
How has Edouard performed this season?
Prior to heading to Selhurst Park, Edouard scored three goals and registered two assists in 11 Celtic apparances this term.
He then got his Palace career off to the perfect start by scoring twice in a six-minute substitute outing as the Eagles recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
However, that was not enough to bag a starting spot for the south London club's trip to Liverpool at the weekend and the Frenchman was made to settle for another substitute appearance as his new employers were consigned to a 3-0 defeat at a raucous Anfield.News Now - Sport News
