Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Jose Rodriguez from Real Madrid, under advice from Cesc Fabregas, according to The Daily Mail.

The 16-year-old impressed scouts during the Under-17 World Cup earlier this summer, after being voted player of the tournament.

And reports suggests that Real Madrid have agreed to allow the starlet to leave for Arsenal.

The player reportedly consulted with former Arsenal captain Fabregas before accepting the deal, which would see him join fellow Spanish youngsters Jon Miquel Toral, Hector Bellerin and Ignasi Miquel.

Rodriguez has already been shown around Arsenal, and told he can expect to make his first-team debut within two years if a deal is completed.
