Halo Infinite edges closer as the weeks and months pass and the developers have started to make moves ahead of the upcoming beta test this weekend.
343 Industries, the game's developers, have been hard at work after taking feedback from the first round of testers due to the series making its eagerly anticipated debut on Microsoft's next-gen console Xbox Series X/S.
As a result, it is easily one of the biggest games of the year and 343 are not taking any chances when it comes to potential glitches or bugs buried deep within the game.
This is why they have taken it upon themselves to host two different test periods so they can gather the necessary data, with players all over the world eager to take part.
Halo Infinite Open Beta
With the beta due to get underway shortly, invites have already been sent out ahead of the second technical playtest.
It will take place over two weekends - between 23rd and 26th September and then 30th September until 3rd October 2021.
Invites were spotted going out on the social media website Reddit as gamers were randomly selected by 343 to give crucial feedback ahead of Halo Infinite's upcoming release near Christmas time.
Unfortunately, not everyone was successful in this ballot either, some even missed out on both and others were selected to participate both times. It looks like it has been the complete luck of the draw for those that succeeded in their attempts to play Halo Infinite before the official release.
Let's hope that 343 retrieve all of the feedback that they need to refine the game and make it as good as it can be.
Halo Infinite will be launched on 8th December 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox One.
