These are trying times if you are Barcelona inclined.
The club is going through one of its most difficult seasons in living memory with things set get worse before they start getting better.
The seismic departure of Lionel Messi in the summer sent shockwaves throughout the world of football after Barcelona's efforts to register him under a new contract were rejected by La Liga.
Not only is the club absolutely riddled with debt, but the fans have become completely disenchanted with everything that is going on.
Woeful mismanagement of one of football's biggest institution has dumped it into a hole it should never have been in and the club is suffering.
Manager Ronald Koeman is taking pot shot at the hierarchy, players are crying in the dressing rooms after being booed by fans, and the results on the field are underwhelming to say the least.
Rumours are already beginning to circulate that Koeman could be on his way out as the club look for a change in fortunes on the pitch.
And, while the executive body begin the process of working on the monumental pile of debt the previous regime racked up, there are already plans being put in place for the future.
It is going to be a long old rebuild, but you can't imagine that a club of Barcelona's ilk will be in this fix for very long.

If Mundo Deportivo is to be believed, the club are planning are massive triple transfer swoop to be the catalyst for their ascension back to the top of the European game.
According to the report, Barca are planning to move for Manchester United's Paul Pogba, RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo and, most significantly, Borussia Dortmund's talismanic Erling Haaland.
You can't fault the ambition at the club and, should they manage to pull off all three there can be no doubting that the Camp Nou would be a far happier place.
Pogba's future at United has been in doubt for years now while Olmo is one of the rising stars of the game.
Haaland however, might prove too tall an ask with the Norwegian superstar likely to be the subject of intense interest from a number of clubs in the coming years.
The other question that needs asking is can Barca afford all three? Unless they can eliminate some of the debt in which they are drowning, they may continue to have a tough time registering new players.
Whatever happens, we can only hope that the Catalan giants will be able to right the ship soon, so that they can take their place back among the elite in the game.
