The next tournament on the Valorant Competitive calendar is the KJC eSports Invitational, which sees some of the best teams in the Southeast Asian region in action.

KJC eSports will be hosting the Riot Games-approved event at the end of September into October.

Here is everything you need to know about the Valorant KJC eSports Invitational for the Southeast Asia region in Competitive Valorant.

How To Watch

The online tournament will be live-streamed at the official KJC eSports Twitch channel and will run from September 30th 2021 to October 10th 2021.

Teams

KJC eSports VALORANT Invitational will feature the top 18 teams in the region in an online tournament with multiple stages. The list of the invited teams are:

Hong Kong/Taiwan

  • Five Ace Esports
  • Griffin E-sports

Indonesia

  • Alter Ego
  • Onic Esports
  • Morph Impact

Malaysia/Singapore

  • Paper Rex
  • UwU
  • Louvre
  • Kingsmen

Philippines

  • Team Secret
  • SV Empire
  • Galaxy Racer
  • Oasis Gaming

Thailand

  • Sharper Esport
  • Foxy Araikordai
  • The Infinity Esports

Vietnam

  • Cerberus Esports
  • Ego

The teams invited were based on the VCT Southeast Asia Stage 3 results. The tournament will have 16 teams fighting their way to climb out of the group stages for the playoffs. Meanwhile, Team Secret and Paper Rex are directly seeded into the playoffs.

The Group Stage will run from September 30 to October 3, while Last Chance Qualifiers on October 4, The Playoffs will run from October 7-10.

Paper Rex and Bren eSports were the two teams who qualified for the Masters Berlin Tournament that took place in September 2021.

Prize Pool

The tournament overall has a prize pool of $5000 USD. The overall Champions of the tournament will receive $3000, second place will receive $1,500 and the third-placed team will get $500.

KJC eSports confirmed the following regarding the Invitational as part of a press release for the tournament:

“With the goal of bringing together the Southeast Asian VALORANT community, the invitational aims to develop the region through competition and discover the sheer power and potential of each teams’ respective rosters.

“‘There is so much talent in Southeast Asia, it is our job at KJC eSports to showcase the top of the top teams in the region.,’ Jeffrey Choi, the founder of KJC eSports, stated.”
