Former Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak believes Cristiano Ronaldo is going to have a "massive" impact at Old Trafford.
What's the latest news involving Cristiano Ronaldo?
United re-signed Ronaldo on summer Deadline Day in a deal worth an initial £12.86m, and it's safe to say the Portuguese legend has enjoyed a blistering start to life back at his former club.
Ronaldo has found the net in all three of his appearances for the Red Devils so far this season, including a brace against Newcastle on his second United debut.
Perhaps that shouldn't be surprising considering Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time, but former United team-mate Kuszczak believes the 36-year-old's goalscoring exploits are just the tip of the iceberg.
What did Kuszczak say about Ronaldo?
Kuszczak has suggested that Ronaldo will prove to be a game-changing signing for United, helping lift them back towards the club's glory days under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Kuszczak, speaking on behalf of 888sport, said: "This was a massive statement because this is what Man United has needed for a long time, somebody who can lift the club from the average time it’s had since Sir Alex Ferguson left because being honest, the last couple of years, Man United have been disappointing.
"The fans haven’t been happy and with players coming and going, different coaches, they couldn't find a rhythm. But now they’ve signed Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the best player in the world, in my eyes – obviously I had a chance to play with him.
"But what Cristiano brings to the club is the fact he has always been the best no matter which league he is playing in. No matter whether it’s for Man Utd in the Premier League, Real Madrid in La Liga, or Juventus in Seria A, he comes in and makes a massive impact, and becomes the main guy. Cristiano is the player who's going to change everything. And even after the first game against Newcastle, he’s had a massive impact. We could already see the difference in the fans, the team, the way they play. It’s massive."

Can Ronaldo transform United single-handed?
Re-signing Ronaldo comes with two obvious advantages. The first is that his profile alone creates a natural buzz around whatever team he's playing for. That will improve morale both within the dressing room and amongst the fans.
The second advantage is the fact he possesses match-winning quality. Four goals in three games speaks for itself, and United lacked a reliable goalscorer up front last season with Bruno Fernandes going on to top the club's netting charts in the Premier League.
Nonetheless, Ronaldo needs others to pull their weight, and United's last two games have shown that.
The Red Devils ended up losing to Young Boys in midweek after the former Real Madrid and Juventus star had been subbed off, while Sunday's win over West Ham required a late wonder-strike from Jesse Lingard and a penalty save from David De Gea.
It could be argued that Ronaldo is helping to inspire a higher level of performance from his team-mates, but ultimately he can't do it all on his own.News Now - Sport News
