Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy edges ever closer to release and details are starting to emerge online about its storage capacity.
That’s right! Groot, Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon and even Drax the Destroyer will be making their video game debut later this year as Eidos-Montréal attempt to take the successful comic book series from the strip into gaming format.
The recent trailer that was showcased during PlayStation Showcase generated huge excitement from Marvel fans across the world – with many left wondering how the storyline will play out.
From what we know so far, players will take control of Star-Lord from a third-person perspective and be tasked with fending off swarms of enemies using his classic jet boots and elemental gun.
In what is promised to be an extensive single-player mode, people have started to query how much space this will take up on their respective platforms – well wonder no more!
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Download Size
Not taking into context the Day One Patch, PlayStation Game Size is notorious online for providing exactly what it says on the tin.
Pre-loads can be carried out two days before Guardian’s of the Galaxy’s official release on Sunday 24th October 2021 where players can install the game and be ready to play straight away.
The precise download size is 41.243 GB for PS5 only, and as mentioned above, not including any patches which could push it on towards 50 GB.
We recommend that players pre-load their game if possible so there is no delay in dividing right into the action and joining the Guardians for the first time!
Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on Tuesday 26th October for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
We will update this article as soon as more details are revealed regarding other platforms in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
