Conor McGregor's training partner Dillon Danis was charged with disorderly conduct early Tuesday morning, according to the latest report from MMA Fighting

The American MMA fighter is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, who became famous for helping McGregor prepare for his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 before making the transition to mixed martial arts at Bellator 198.

Per the report, the charge relates to an alleged incident which occurred at the Beachcomber Bar and Grill in New Jersey on Saturday night.

Beachcomber has served as the location for numerous music videos and television shows, most famously as the backdrop for several episodes of the 2010s American reality television show 'Jersey Shore'.

Danis, 28, could not be reached for comment after footage allegedly showing him being taken into custody went viral earlier this week. His spokesperson did not respond to an email seeking comment either.

The video, posted to social media on Monday, showed a man believed to be the Bellator welterweight being handcuffed and dragged away by police outside of the establishment.

McGregor is currently in Chicago and was completely unaware of the incident when it happened at the time.

Conor McGregor's training partner Dillon Danis arrested on disorderly conduct charge.

This isn't the first time Danis has brushed shoulders with the law.

The 28-year-old was famously slapped with a hefty fine and seven-month suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his involvement in the ensuing melee with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October 2018.

McGregor meanwhile was handed a $50,000 fine and a retroactive ban dating back to October 6.

He became eligible to compete again on April 6, 2019, but was subsequently removed from the rankings due to inactivity.

The Notorious eventually returned to the octagon against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in Las Vegas, before suffering the first of his two career defeats to Dustin Poirier a year later.
