Sydney Leroux: USWNT star's hilarious Twitter video with Cassius & Roux goes viral

Sydney Leroux

Orlando Pride and US national team star Sydney Leroux is back at it with her hilarious social media content.

The forward has become known for her dry humour online and jokes involving her children Cassius and Roux.

Her son and daughter are her biggest fans, but it doesn't stop Leroux from pranking them.

Earlier this year, Leroux used a photo of her daughter Roux as a reaction meme with the caption: "When you thought you were done arguing but then you hear them whisper something under their breath."

Then when someone compared her and her son Cassius in their matching Orlando Pride kits, Leroux didn't hesitate to claim she would win the 1v1 between the two.

Leroux has had Twitter in stitches once again but this time with a prank using a video filter.

"Sweet picture with mommy," the 31-year-old coos as Cassius and Roux pose for a cute photo, completely unaware of what's going to happen next.

Leroux then catches the adorable duo off guard by growling, and warping the filter so it appears as though her eyes are popping out of her head.

Leroux is left laughing while her children scramble away screaming – something parents all around the world can definitely relate to.

Her video has been viewed more than 87,000 times and has accumulated 7,000 likes and counting.

Twitter users have flocked to the comments section, replying things like: "So mean! I love it!", "A mom after my own heart!" and "She might have motivated lotta people to have kids."

Like many parents out there, Leroux loves to have a bit of fun with her children, but above all she is always showing them off to the world and supporting them as they grow.

Both Cassius and Roux have attended matches to watch their mum play for Orlando Pride and the USA, sporting adorable kits with 'Mommy' on the back. Cassius has also started playing football himself, recently scoring his first goal and already following in the footsteps of his mother.
