The Premier League is always the go-to division for gamers on FIFA Ultimate Team.

England's top tier is loaded with superstars and on every single edition of the game, the league is also home to footballers who fit into the 'overpowered' category.

FIFA 22, which is officially released on September 26th, looks like it's going to be no different whatsoever in that regard.

The Premier League player ratings that have been released so far have revealed some absolute gems for the Ultimate Team game mode and we've decided to select what we feel are the 11 scariest looking.

Because we're solely focusing on what appear to be 'overpowered' players, you won't be seeing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo or Mohamed Salah below.

Instead, the 11 footballers in question are those that are affordable and still have the potential to wreak virtual havoc on opposing teams.

We've also decided to only focus on players who's overall rating is 85 or lower.

So, let's begin...

Kyle Walker (Manchester City) - 85 overall

Walker's FIFA 22 card

Trent Alexander-Arnold (87) and Joao Cancelo (86) may have higher ratings, but Walker is without question going to be the best right-back in the Premier League on FIFA 22. Just look at that pace for crying out loud!

Phil Foden (Manchester City) - 84 overall

Foden's FIFA 22 card

Foden's FIFA 22 card is an absolute gem. The Englishman is pretty rapid for a CAM, has incredible dribbling stats and looks like he'll be a very decent finisher too. The complete package for a modest price? We reckon so.

Timo Werner (Chelsea) - 84 overall

Werner's FIFA 22 card

His form at Chelsea in real-life hasn't been great, but on FIFA, Werner is once again set to be an absolute beast. Pace, pace and more pace, the German will almost certainly be an absolute nightmare to face.

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) - 83 overall

Jesus' FIFA 22 card

Jesus has been irritating to face on FIFA for a fair few years now and that seems like it won't be changing this time around. Speed, magnificent dribbling skills and fine shooting stats, the Brazilian is an all-round striker that has the potential to destroy defences once again.

Allan (Everton) - 83 overall

Allan's FIFA 22 card

What a card. Allan might be rated 83 overall, but you'll be hard pushed to find a more complete Premier League midfielder on FIFA 22. A budget N'Golo Kante that looks primed to dominate Ultimate Team.

Joe Gomez (Liverpool) - 82 overall

Gomez's FIFA 22 card

Any centre-back with 80+ pace is an automatic beast in our book and once again, Gomez is part of that speedy gang. The Liverpool man looks pretty competent in most other areas too, meaning he'll likely devour strikers for fun.

Leon Bailey (Aston Villa) - 82 overall

Bailey's FIFA 22 card

The Premier League's newest speed demon. As well as possessing sprinter-like pace, Bailey's stats in other key departments are mighty impressive. He's also got a four-star rating for both skill moves and weak foot, which makes him a deadly customer - on paper at least.

Nikola Vlasic (West Ham) - 80 overall

Vlasic's FIFA 22 card

At first glance, Vlasic's card may look a tad average. However, a CAM with 83 pace who will likely cost next to nothing has the potential to be an in-game superstar. The Croatian also has a five-star weak foot, something that every FIFA player will know is a massive plus.

Rodrigo Moreno (Leeds United) - 79 overall

Rodrigo's FIFA 22 card

The Spaniard's pace rating has dipped slightly for FIFA 22, but he still looks like a must-have if you're building a Premier League XI. Rodrigo's move from ST to CAM also makes him a far more desirable card.

Adama Traore (Wolves) - 78 overall

Traore's FIFA 22 card

We don't really need to say much here, do we? The sight of Traore in the loading screen has sent shivers down the spine for a few editions of FIFA now and that trend is almost certainly going to continue. His pace and strength are jus terrifying to be honest.

Ben Godfrey (Everton) - 77 overall

Godfrey's FIFA 22 card

Premier League 2021/22: Fixtures, Results, Odds, Ball, Tickets And Everything You Need To Know

Godfrey and Gomez are going to be the centre-back partnership of doom on FIFA 22. The Everton man is even quicker than his fellow countryman and looks like one of the best 77-rated card in the history of Ultimate Team.
