Journalist Luke Hatfield has described West Brom being booed when they're still unbeaten as a "bizarre" situation.
How are West Brom doing this season?
After eight Championship matches, the Baggies are yet to taste defeat under new manager Valerien Ismael and are just two points behind leaders Bournemouth.
West Brom collected 13 points from their opening five matches after recording four straight wins following their opening day draw with Bournemouth, including a thumping 4-0 victory over Sheffield United and away successes at Blackburn and Peterborough.
However, their season has hit a bump in the road since the international break, which has led to frustration from the Baggies faithful.
Their 1-1 draw with Preston last weekend was their third on the bounce, which means they're still winless in the Championship this month, but are just one of two sides, Bournemouth being the other, yet to lose in the league.
Despite those three draws on the bounce, Hatfield cannot believe that Ismael's side were booed off in their recent stalemate with Derby.

What did Hatfield say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "It's bizarre, isn't it? The reaction to a team that are third in the table and are unbeaten getting booed at home, which is really, really strange to me.
"When you look at it from the fans' side, they've got more than their own right to react to what they're seeing, they're paying their hard-earned money to watch football, travelling away from home and if they're not pleased with the style of play, then they've got a right to express their thoughts."
Do the fans have a right to boo?
As Hatfield stated, supporters are paying customers and therefore have a right to express their feelings to the players if they're not happy with what they're seeing.
However, four wins and four draws in eight matches represents a solid start to Ismael's reign as Baggies boss.
It's clearly not the results which are frustrating the fans, more so Ismael's style of play, which is different to what they've been treated to in recent seasons.
But if West Brom keep picking up results and end up finishing with promotion this season, the Baggies faithful will care little about how they're playing.
