Chelsea will be forced to contend with "teething problems" when it comes to Saul Niguez settling in at Stamford Bridge, according to journalist Paul Brown.
How did Saul's move to Chelsea come about?
Saul completed a season-long loan switch, which has the option of being made permanent, as the transfer deadline loomed.
The central midfielder fell down the pecking order at parent club Atletico Madrid last season and his contract with the reigning La Liga champions does not expire until the summer of 2026.
Spanish media outlet Marca reported Saul was eager to leave Atletico, bringing a 13-year association with the club to an end, and the Premier League was his preferred destination.
The report suggests Liverpool and Manchester United were among the clubs keeping tabs on the Spain international before Chelsea pounced.
Having succeeded Frank Lampard as head coach in January and led Chelsea to Champions League glory just a matter of months later, Thomas Tuchel went into the transfer window with the opportunity to make the squad his own.
Saul's arrival rounded off Chelsea's business, with goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli also joining from neighbours Fulham and Romelu Lukaku returning to Stamford Bridge for a club record fee of £97.5million.
What has Paul Brown said about Saul?
Having made 264 appearances in the Spanish top flight, Brown believes Saul may find it difficult adjusting to the speed of the Premier League.
However, the journalist maintains Saul will not be put under too much pressure as he attempts to settle in at Stamford Bridge.
Brown told GMS: "It's a bit of a surprise that they were interested in getting him given that they've got really good midfielders there already.

"He's something a little bit different and working out how that's going to fit into a Champions League-winning team might just take a few weeks of teething problems.
"I think he's got time to adjust and no-one's going to be too critical because of the fact that he's only there on loan right now."
Will Saul prove to be a success?
Saul boasts 19 caps for Spain and made 22 La Liga starts as Atletico won the title last season, so he is clearly a huge talent.
The 26-year-old also got his hands on the Europa League twice and the Copa del Rey during a trophy-laden career in the Spanish capital.
But it may take time for Saul to rediscover his best form as he received widespread criticism following his first outing for Chelsea earlier this month, with his performance against Aston Villa being branded "embarrassing" and "garbage".
Tuchel substituted the central midfielder at half-time and admitted his decision was made in a bid to stop Saul suffering a loss of confidence.
