Bayern Munich are preparing a January move for former Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton target Ever Banega reports talkSPORT.

The 23-year-old Valencia playmaker has attracted plenty of interest from across Europe, and would consider a move away from the Mestalla to secure guaranteed first-team football as he bids to reclaim his place in the Argentina national team.

The talented playmaker was a reported target for Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson over the summer, as he looked to bolster his ranks at Old Trafford in the attacking midfield department.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was also credited with an interest in Banega as Arsenal searched high and low for a replacement to fill the void left by the summer departure of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

But after opting to sign Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta, it is Everton who are leading the English interest for a player who almost moved to Goodison Park on a season-long loan in 2009, only for work permit complications to prevent him linking up with David Moyes on Merseyside.

German giants Bayern are now ready to rival Everton, Arsenal and Manchester United for his signature, with reports in Spain suggesting that club scouts have watched Banega in action for Valencia in each of his four appearances in La Liga this season.
