Luke Hatfield fears that Wolves might he heading down a similar route to Brighton last season.
What happened to Brighton last season?
Despite playing an attractive brand of football under Graham Potter, the Seagulls' goal return didn't match their XG (expected goals), which saw them slip into a relegation battle.
Brighton scored 40 Premier League goals as finished they 16th but squandered several big chances and were desperately in need of a prolific goalscorer to put them away.
In fact, more times than not, Potter's team came out on top on XG, but ended up losing games, which is a similar problem to the one Wolves are enduring at present.
Bruno Lage's team have collected just three points and scored two goals, one of which an own goal, from their opening five Premier League games.
Adama Traore has been guilty of missing two golden chances against Leicester and Tottenham, with Wolves failing to score in the latter despite having 25 shots on goal, six of which were on target.
Wolves currently sit 16th in the Premier League, but their current XG (8.22) is the seventh best in the table.

Therefore, Hatfield is concerned that the Midlands outfit might be following in the footsteps of Brighton.
What did Hatfield say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "They had a tough start on paper, but you're right in highlighting the XG because they were playing some fantastic football but not tucking the chances away.
"And we saw how much of an effect that can have on a team like Brighton last year, and Wolves look like they're going down a similar path this season."
Should Lage be concerned?
The Wolves boss will obviously be worried with their lack of goals, but he'll surely see those big chances created as a positive.
Two goals in almost eight hours of Premier League action is not a record to be proud of, but he'll be hoping that once Raul Jimenez gets one, he'll get a few, whilst the return of Daniel Podence, who showed his quality against Spurs in the Carabao Cup, should bolster their attacking options.
Perhaps the biggest loss for Lage, though, is the injured Pedro Neto, who would definitely improve their XG. Unfortunately for the Portuguese, he isn't expected to return until February.
