Daniel Maldini made history on Saturday afternoon in AC Milan's Serie A clash against Spezia.
The youngster, 19, became the third generation Maldini to start for AC Milan, following his grandfather (Cesare) and his father (Paolo).
And he enjoyed a near perfect day as he netted the opener after 48 minutes.
A cross was swung in from the right and the Italian midfielder leapt highest to head home.
His father, Paolo, was watching on from the stands.
And he was the proudest man in Italy as he watched his son score his first Milan goal.
Paolo rose to his feet and his joy was plain to see. Watch the goal below...
And watch Maldini's reaction below...
You love to see it.
Milan looked as if they would have to settle for a draw when they were pegged back with 10 minutes remaining.
Daniele Verde's speculative strike took a heavy deflection off Sandro Tonali and found its way into the net.
Ranking football's ultimate GOATS on The Football Terrace! Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane, R9... Who is the greatest of all time?!
But Stefano Piolo's side won it with four minutes remaining thanks to Brahim Diaz's goal.
The Spaniard found himself with aces of space inside the box and his effort went through the legs of Jeroen Zoet and into the net.
The victory means Milan have gone back to the top of Serie A having picked up 16 points from their opening six games.
What a special day for both Milan and the Maldini family.
