Journalist Luke Hatfield has admitted that Wolves may regret not adding an attacking player to their squad on deadline day as Fabio Silva continues to struggle to convince at Molineux.

The Premier League outfit made a late move for Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore as Bruno Lage looked to bolster his forward line.
However, the Welsh club were unwilling to do business at such a late stage in the transfer window, meaning that Wolves were unable to add any attacking options to their squad on the final day.
What did Hatfield say about Wolves failing to land any of their targets on deadline day?
Wolves did manage to bring in Hee-chan Hwang on loan a couple of days before the window closed. Yet Hatfield feels it was a mistake on the club's part to not get another forward to support Raul Jimenez, especially as he is unconvinced that Silva is up to the job of being the Mexican's understudy.
When looking through the team's attacking players, Hatfield conceded that Wolves may be disappointed by their recruitment at the end of the window as he told GIVEMESPORT: “Fabio Silva hasn’t quite worked out yet. We’ve seen Hwang come in, I think he’s a promising player. Trincao, obviously plays on the wing. And they’ve still got Pedro Neto to come back. They may well regret that because outside of Jimenez, they probably don’t have a real proven out-and-out striker.
“The jury’s still out on Fabio Silva as I said, so if Jimenez isn’t scoring goals, and he hasn’t scored, he hasn’t looked quite like the player he was, which is understandable of course after such a horrendous injury. Yeah, they could well regret that.”

Will Fabio Silva come good at Wolves?
The club will certainly hope so.
Lage's men have scored just twice in their opening five league games this season, and one of those was an own goal, highlighting how they have had major issues with putting the ball in the back of the net.
Silva is still only 19, suggesting that patience will be key for Wolves, but they may be running low on this given that he has only scored four times in 42 appearances for the club. They surely would have wanted more from a player they paid £36m for last September.
With Jimenez not firing, Wolves badly need Silva to step up, or they could be set for a long season which may see them battling to stay in the top-flight.
