Oleksandr Usyk had Anthony Joshua seeing stars in the final 30 seconds of heavyweight bout

Usyk dominated Joshua in the final 30 seconds of their bout

Oleksandr Usyk is the new IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight world champion after defeating Anthony Joshua on points.

The two fighters met at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a mouthwatering clash on Saturday evening.

Usyk went into the bout as the underdog but he produced a dominant display to shock the Englishman.

The Ukrainian came racing out of the blocks as he quickly showed his superior boxing ability.

Joshua came back into the fight in the middle rounds, but Usyk battled back and finished strong.

Usyk was comfortably up going into the final round but, despite not needing a knockout, he gave Joshua all he had in the final 30 seconds.

The 34-year-old unleashed a barrage of punches which connected with Joshua, who had absolutely no answer whatsoever.

Joshua somehow was still on his feet as the final bell sounded, but it was still a wonderful finish from Usyk and you can view it below:

It was a brilliant end to what was a masterful performance.

Usyk was emotional when speaking to the media after his victory.

"This means a lot for me. The fight went the way I expected it to go. There were moments when Anthony pushed me hard but it was nothing special," he said, per BBC.

"I had no objective to knock him out because my corner pushed me not to do that. In the beginning, I tried to hit him hard, but then I stuck to my job.

Usyk beat Joshua on Saturday evening

"The only thing I wanted to do with this fight is to give praise to Jesus Christ.

"I have been working so hard since January in preparation for this fight, it took me half a year and I didn't see my family for so long. I missed seeing them playing. I want to go home and be happy with my family and I'm not thinking about the rematch."

Eddie Hearn has already confirmed Joshua will activate his rematch clause, so it won't be long until they meet in the ring once again.
