In what was one of the most awaited fights of the year, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk fought at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Ukrainian won the bout via unanimous decision with scores of 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113. This was Usyk's 19th win, thus maintaining his unbeaten record while also handing Joshua the second defeat of his career. The fight was far from being the most tightly contested one as Usyk seemed the more dominant of the two boxers by a considerable distance. However, the atmosphere was nothing short of electrifying and a video has emerged on social media that shows thousands of fans singing the Neil Diamond classic "Sweet Caroline" which can give goosebumps.By getting the better of Joshua, Usyk won the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles. He now joins Evander Holyfield and David Haye in the list of boxers who have been the unified cruiserweight champion as well as the heavyweight champion. After the fight, Usyk said: "This means a lot to me. The fight went exactly the way I expected it to go. There was times when Anthony pushed me hard but nothing special.

"I had no objective to knock him out. My corner pushed me not to do that. My trainer said no and to stick to my job.

"I've been working so hard since January. It took me some half a year. I miss my children. I want to go home. I'm not thinking about the rematch. You didn't see the best Usyk. I can be much better."

Usyk has now managed to defeat eight different boxers in their respective countries and there's little doubt that he still has a lot more to offer.

A rematch between him and Joshua seems possible and that's something a lot of fans would want to see.
